Dr. Berning has attended a variety of tongue tie courses from medical professionals who are considered leaders in tongue tie research and education. She has completed courses given by Dr. Larry Kotlow (pediatric dentist), Dr. Bobby Ghaheri (ENT physician), Dr. Soroush Zaghi (ENT physician), and Dr. Richard Baxter (pediatric dentist). For completing Dr. Baxter's comprehensive course, she earned the designation of a "Tongue-Tied Academy" Graduate.
Exceptional Dentistry was voted as Local Favorite Dental Office for the third time by Her Magazine readers.
Dentist Ted Murray, DDS Wins "Best of Show" and Gold Medal in 13th Annual AACD Smile Gallery Competition
Ted Murray, DDS of Dubuque, IA has won the Best of Show Trophy and a Gold Medal with his entry in the 13th Annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) Smile Gallery competition. The Annual AACD Smile Gallery Competition is a prestigious competition open to all AACD members. It is designed to find the "Best Of The Best" in clinical cosmetic dentistry. It highlights the dramatic effects of cosmetic dentistry at its finest.

Dr. Kristen Berning receives her Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry
The Mastership Award is the AGD’s highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To earn this award, Dr. Berning passed the fellowship exam and completed 1,100 hours of dental continuing education in 16 specific categories, including at least 400 hands-on participation hours.  She received the MAGD award at the 2015 Annual AGD Meeting.

Dr. Ted Murray awarded GOLD Medal at American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Meeting
Dr. Ted Murray exhibited outstanding skill in the direct restorations category where he won a Gold Medal. He was also awarded the "Best of Show" trophy which is given to the one case that particularly stands out as premier casework in cosmetic dentistry, among all the categories at the AACD Annual Meeting.

See this little green book? A couple of our photos are published inside "The Little Green Book of Breastfeeding Management for Physicians & Other Healthcare Providers."
